Where to Find Cigar Boxes in Warzone DMZ

A smoky exfiltration.

Ashika Island in Warzone DMZ Activision

Despite Season 4 and its Reloaded update changing a fair few aspects of Warzone’s DMZ mode, Cigar Boxes remain an in-demand and sought after item. Here’s how to find the.

DMZ Cigar Box Locations

Unfortunately, in Season 4, there aren’t any set spawns for Cigar Boxes in DMZ. We don’t know of any guaranteed locations you can visit and return with them in your backpack.

Fortunately, there are places to go and areas to loot that will increase the likelihood of finding them. Firstly, Ashika Island continues to spawn Cigar Boxes at a higher frequency than the other Exclusion Zones in DMZ. Deploying there should be your first port of call.

Secondly, you’ll want to search First Aid Kits, Medical Boxes and Bathroom Cabinets. For unknown reasons (maybe the residents of Ashika enjoyed a Cigar in the bathtub), they’re most commonly found in these medical supply caches.

Because of these common locations, we recommend heading to densely populated areas of Ashika, where there’s a lot of living spaces. These tend to have bathrooms which, as we just explained, spawn Cigar Boxes more frequently than other locations.

We found two Cigar Boxes in a bathroom’s Medical Cabinet at Oganikku Farms. They’re nondescript rectangular items worth $100 in game.

Because they are important in ranking up aspects of your Active Duty Operator, like increasing Wallet and Contraband Stash sizes, they’ve long been in demand across the playerbase.

They are lootable on other exclusion zones, with reports of players finding them on Al Mazrah and Vondel. We haven’t found them on Vondel ourselves, but we have come across them in the following locations in Al Mazrah:

  • Captain Silver’s Briefcase in the Sattiq Cave Complex (key required)
  • Al Sharim Pass POI

It’s also worth looting areas that typically yield better loot, like Strongholds and Supply Drops.

These will also offer rare items like Gold Skulls that are valuable (even if they’re not specifically what you’re after). Unfortunately, there’s no way to barter for Cigar Boxes in Warzone DMZ, so you can’t trade in unwanted loot for them like you can GPUs or other desired items.

That’s everything to know about finding Cigar Boxes in Warzone DMZ. For everything else CoD’s extraction mode, including the best DMZ loadouts for Season 4, stay with us right here.
